The lips were my favorite part! I used 3 coats of each color, each time blotting in between, to achieve the color & dimension that I wanted. The Ardell lashes were perfect to accentuate the 'cat-eye' look.

As I continue to build my YouTube channel & prepare red carpet looks for the L'Oreal guru contest (which I still am unable to submit a video - grrr) I decided to play around with a celebrity inspired look. I'll be filming this tutorial tomorrow (got to love 8-5 jobs - there never is enough daytime hahaha)...here is my "rough draft" for the next tutorial which is inspired by Avril Lavigne.
I have to admit, I really like the girlie, punk thing going on & I really wanted to play around with a dramatic smoky eye - & Avril's signature black smoked out liner caught my attention.

Candy & Glitter....does it get any better?!

So I picked one of these up while I was on one of my random Walmart shopping adventures (yes, in the small town I live in, that's kind of the only place to get anything you need) because a) it was pink! b) seemed interesting. I remember when Hard Candy was soooo expensive (or it seemed like that to me when I was a kid) & you didn't find it at Walmart! Anyways, I figured I'd give it a try....what do you think? Would you wear glitter mascara or leave it for a middle school dance event?
